Job summary

Childbase Partnership Limited is seeking a Nursery Manager in Birmingham to lead a 94-place nursery. You will oversee day-to-day operations, empower a large team, and ensure outstanding child learning under EYFS standards.

The role requires a DfE-approved early years qualification (level 3+) and strong leadership with a focus on safeguarding, occupancy targets, and staff development within a supportive, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Qualified early years professional with EYFS knowledge and recent management experience.
• Experience leading a large early years setting to deliver outstanding outcomes for children.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach staff to achieve best practices in a collaborative environment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and high-quality care in line with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of the nursery and ensure high-quality learning experiences.
• Drive occupancy, budget adherence and staff retention in partnership with senior leadership.
• Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and regulatory standards across all nursery operations.
• Coach and develop the team to deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families.

## Job Introduction**Join Childbase Partnership and be part of something extraordinary.****Role:** Nursery Manager. **Location:** Highfield Day Nursery | Birmingham | B15 3ED. **Nursery capacity:**94 places. **Contract:** Permanent | 37.5 hours/week | 52 weeks/year. **Working pattern:** Varied shifts Monday-Friday between 07:00-18:30 | Choose a 4 or 5 day week. **Salary:** £42,178.50-£55,419 per annum (pro-rata) plus discretionary bonus scheme. **Responsible to:** Area Manager.We’ve been delivering childcare excellence since 1989.
