Nursery Manager Position at Big Bird Nursery

At our Big Bird Nursery, we are seeking a Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations and support our team. This is a 12-month maternity cover, working 38 hours per week. The salary is approximately £42,000 plus excellent benefits, including good transport links and onsite parking.

Big Bird Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group, a 79-place setting located in the heart of the Whitburn community. Led by a passionate and caring team, the nursery features natural resources to promote self-directed play and discovery. Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a Day Nursery
  • At least 2 years of experience leading and supporting teams
  • Ability to inspire, energise, and support others
  • Genuine passion and excitement for working with children and supporting their learning
  • Sound knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence framework and regulations
  • Strong understanding of Care Inspectorate standards and requirements
