Nursery Manager

As a nursery manager, you will:

1. Supervise, direct, support, and motivate staff across the nursery.
2. Devise a range of activities with team members in your room and guide staff in high-quality delivery of these activities.
3. Provide support to unqualified team members and students pursuing childcare qualifications.
4. Be aware of the nursery's overall requirements and familiarize yourself with the routines of each room.
5. Ensure planning and observation targets are being met.
6. Be responsible for ensuring scorecards are used and data is collected.
7. Take a lead role in inducting new staff.
8. Be competent in all nursery software.
9. Complete show rounds as necessary.
