Join the vibrant team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries as a Nursery Lunch Cover Assistant! In this crucial role, you will help ensure that the lunchtime experience for our young learners is enjoyable, safe, and nourishing. You will work closely with children aged 0-5, fostering a positive atmosphere during mealtimes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children during lunch, promoting positive social interactions.
• Assist with food preparation and serving, while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting dining environment.
• Encourage healthy eating habits and support children's independence during mealtimes.
• Collaborate with nursery staff to ensure the wellbeing of all children.

Working hours are from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

• Experience in a childcare or nursery setting is preferred. (Level 2 or 3 desirable)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with young children.
• A commitment to promoting healthy eating and lifestyles among children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are an advantage.
