We're hiring a Nursery Learning Support Assistant to join an infant school in the S43 area. The position starts ASAP and continues until July, with the potential to be extended.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting children's social and emotional development in nursery

  • Facilitating hands-on learning, storytelling, and guided play

  • Working alongside the class teacher to deliver EYFS curriculum

  • Assisting with personal care routines, snack times, and transitions

  • Monitoring developmental progress and contributing to planning

Skills & Qualities:

  • Prior experience in EYFS settings or early years education

  • Gentle, nurturing approach with excellent communication skills

  • Understanding of developmental milestones in under 5s

  • DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
