Job summary

MiChild Group is seeking a dedicated Nursery Housekeeper for Moorevilla Nursery in Blackpool. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6pm to 9pm, with a salary from £12.75 per hour.

You will be responsible for all internal cleaning across play areas, kitchens, bathrooms and staff spaces, maintaining hygienic conditions and safety for children, parents and staff. Benefits include childcare discounts, wellbeing sessions, annual awards, and up to 33 days of annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience of taking responsibility for all internal cleaning requirements - play areas, kitchens, bathrooms, staff areas
• Ensuring all surfaces, floors, tiles and walls are clean and hygienic, using cleaning materials safely and appropriately
• Reporting any maintenance matters immediately, ensuring a safe space for all children, parents and staff
• Maintaining a well organised equipment inventory and a keen eye for detail to ensure that all areas are clean, hygienic and safe

Responsibilities

• You will be working Monday to Friday, 6pm to 9pm
• Ensure cleaning of play areas, kitchens, bathrooms and staff areas to high standards
• Use cleaning materials safely and report any maintenance needs
• Keep equipment inventory well organised and secure
