Job summary

MiChild Group is seeking a Nursery Housekeeper for Heathside Nursery in Runcorn. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the nursery, while adhering to health and safety practices in a setting for children.

The successful candidate will work with a friendly team, ensure indoor and outdoor spaces are well-kept, and report maintenance or stock needs promptly. DBS check and Right to Work in the UK are required.

About MiChild at Heathside Nursery

Heathside Nursery is proudly rated good by Ofsted, has a capacity of 43 children and has been part of the Mi Child family since 2020.

We are in Runcorn WA7, near the Heath office’s and local to Heath Park. We are also local to several commuting routes such as the shopping city, and Runcorn old town,10mins walk to Runcorn train station and local to many more local locations.

Our Setting has had a full refurbishment, and recently our baby garden has had a full re-design. We are lucky enough to have two very large outdoor spaces, offering our children and staff countless opportunities to engage in outdoor activities in natural environments in the great outdoors. We have on site parking facilities.

What We’re Looking For:

• An experienced housekeeper, knowledgeable about health & safety practices within a nursery based environment
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring all areas of the setting are clean and hygienic
• Knowledge of how to work safely with chemicals and cleaning agents
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Good communication and experience in reporting key information such as maintenance issues to stock requirements
• Reliable and proactive
