Job summary

N Family Club in Reading, Berkshire is seeking a Flexi Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe nursery environment. The role supports our nursery team, parents and children daily with high cleaning standards and hygienic facilities.

You will work in partnership with staff, follow COSHH guidelines, and help with laundry and general duties. We offer flexible hours, competitive pay and a supportive team culture within the UK’s innovative early years group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Good knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Work with Nursery team to maintain high cleaning standards for smooth daily operations.
• Be welcoming to children, parents, staff and visitors at all times.
• Water and maintain indoor and outdoor plants.
• Keep communal areas well presented and inviting.
• Report damage or faulty equipment to nursery management promptly.
• Maintain hygiene standards in bathrooms and changing areas.
• Report cleaning provisions needs within budget to front of house.
• Carry out daily laundry duties as required.
• Ensure cleaning products are suitable for nursery use and stored per COSHH guidelines.
• Assist with deliveries and distribution throughout the nursery.
