Nursery Educator Qualified

Location: Muswell Hill N10

Salary: £28,655 per year

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are working on behalf of our client, who is currently looking for Early Years Practitioners and Educators to join our Baby, Toddler, or Preschool room.

The setting

Our brand-new Muswell Hill Nursery supports 57 children in a clean, contemporary, and inspiring environment with spacious rooms that welcome natural light. The setting is based in an intimate residential area close to local amenities and parks. It features a large leafy garden space and sandpit to promote learning through play.

What you will be doing

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities and lessons to promote children’s learning, independence, and exploration in line with the nursery educational philosophy.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and achievements, and communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding their development.
  • Collaborate with other team members to create a warm, inclusive environment that meets the needs of children from diverse cultural and developmental backgrounds.
  • Actively uphold the nursery’s safeguarding policies, ensuring children’s safety and well-being, and adhere to all health and safety procedures.
  • Support day-to-day nursery operations, including preparing meals, handling cleaning tasks, and assisting children with personal care needs such as toileting and hygiene.

Requirements:

  • Must be Early Years qualified Level 2 or above.
  • Experience in an Early Years nursery setting.
  • A confident leader who has successfully participated in Ofsted inspections with Good or Outstanding outcomes.
  • An inspirational Room Leader capable of developing a high-performing team.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • A caring and patient attitude with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a childcare setting.
