Job description

TeacherActive is excited to be working with a group of nurseries across Nottinghamshire, providing exceptional care to children. The nurseries ensure all staff are well-trained in the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding, supporting children’s development through stimulating activities that enhance their cognitive and motor skills.

They are currently seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will gain experience working with children aged 6 months to 4 years, supported by a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, flexible, and passionate about children’s learning and development.

As an Early Years Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting children's development and learning activities
  2. Assisting with daily routines and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment
  3. Participating in training sessions on Safeguarding and the EYFS curriculum

The candidate should have the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification (those without a Level 3 are encouraged to apply)
  • A calm, patient, and caring personality
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Experience working in a nursery setting
