Job Description:

Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking a Nursery Manager based at our St Albans Fitness and Wellbeing Centre within the Nuffield Health gym. This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours) offering £38,000 (DOE).

We are Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). If you are passionate about children's wellbeing, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead one of our nurseries within the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity.

Qualifications: NNEB, NVQ Level 3/4, BTEC, BA Hons or equivalent. You should have experience managing a team and an enhanced DBS check. Excellent communication skills with parents, carers, and external professionals are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring high-quality care and education in our nursery
  • Championing the health, growth, and development of children
  • Overseeing planning activities and assessments
  • Implementing updates to childcare legislation
  • Holding overall responsibility for SEN and Safeguarding
  • Identifying opportunities to grow sales and meet revenue targets
