Job summary

Kids Planet Leigh is seeking a Nursery Cook to join our team. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with NO WEEKENDS or BANK HOLIDAYS, and you’ll be inventive creating menus so every child enjoys nutritious meals.

You’ll be part of a supportive, values-driven family business that prioritises wellbeing, training through KP Academy, and a competitive salary with pension. Our Leigh setting is recently refurbished and easily reachable.

Qualifications

• Catering experience in a similar environment.
• Basic Food Hygiene knowledge and certificate.
• Ability to accommodate allergies and dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals and accommodate allergies and dietary requirements for all children.
• Maintain a clean, tidy kitchen and ensure compliance with environmental health standards.
• Collaborate with children and nursery staff in snack-making and baking activities.
