The first yurt-based outdoor nursery school, Farley Sparsholt really is a nursery like no other.

We are looking for passionate Nursery Chef/Cook who will prepare nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals and be responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen.

This nursery is part of Storal, a group of nurseries across England. It is our vision at Storal to be the nursery group that every family and educator wants to be part of. About the job:

  • Provide balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery and catering for children with specific dietary needs
  • Instill Storal Values to Food and Hygiene and compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health and Safety and within the guidelines of Ofsted
  • Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
  • Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation
  • To be aware of COSHH and follow relevant guidelines

About you:

  • Level 2 qualification or aboveinFood and Hygiene
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role and setting
  • Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
  • Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together

What we can offer you:

Salary: From £23,920 - £27,622.40 FTE per annum - dependent on experience and qualifications (pro-rata for part-time hours)
