Nursery: Blueberry Nursery School, Hove, 5 Davigdor Road, Hove, Brighton, BN3 1QB

Hours: Part Time, 20 hours per week over 4 days

Salary: £12.75 per hour

About you

You are proactive in cleaning, enjoy rolling up your sleeves, and are dedicated to providing excellent care and service. Your enthusiasm and compassion ensure that those you support feel cared for and proud of their environment.

What you'll be doing

As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery. Following the cleaning schedule, you will ensure all areas are clean, tidy, safe, and well cared for. Your role involves managing cleaning materials and supplies in line with health and safety guidelines, and adhering to child protection and health and safety legislation.

You will work closely with the educator team to ensure any issues impacting daily operations are reported and dealt with promptly and safely.

What you'll need

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Enthusiasm and high standards of cleanliness
  • Excellent understanding of basic hygiene and cleanliness
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
  • Understanding of safeguarding and site security
