A local nursery organization in Lower Hopton is seeking a reliable Nursery Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety within their environment. The role involves daily cleaning tasks across various nursery areas, ensuring that hygiene standards are upheld. Ideal candidates will have previous cleaning experience, particularly in childcare, and must pass an enhanced DBS check. This part-time position requires 15 hours per week, from 6pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday.

Banana Moon Mirfield is looking for a dedicated and reliable Nursery Cleaner to join our team. In this important role, you will ensure that our nursery environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming for both children and staff. Your work will play a crucial part in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the nurseries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including classrooms, staff rooms, and toilets
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are used and stored safely and efficiently
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a hygienic environment for children
  • Monitor cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the nursery management
  • Participate in regular cleaning schedules and deep cleaning tasks as required

This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a positive environment for children and staff.

This position is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday working from 6pm till 9pm. You will work alongside our other cleaner who will be working the same hours.
