Footsteps Nursery Fradley, part of the Family First Group, is hiring a Nursery Housekeeper in Alrewas. The role is 16 hours weekly, Mon-Fri, with duties across playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual.

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and COSHH procedures.
• Experience working in a nursery, school, healthcare, or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, sanitise surfaces and empty bins.
• Disinfect children's bathrooms and high-touch areas; nappies and changing areas.
• Support laundry duties: washing, drying, folding, and organising nursery linen.
• Assist with washing up and kitchen cleanliness.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and report replenishment needs.
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH, infection control and safeguarding procedures.

The role:

As NurseryHousekeeper, you will help maintain the highest standards ofcleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery. Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Cleaning andmaintaining playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communalareas
• Sweeping,mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptyingbins
• Cleaning anddisinfecting children's bathrooms, nappy changing areas, andhigh-touch surfaces
