Job description

Nursery Class Teacher (Two posts) -(1x Maternity Cover/ 1 x permanent)

0.6 (3 days includes 0.5 days PPA)

The Governing Board of Longwood Primary School are seeking to appoint two excellent practitioners who teach to the highest standards, believes that each and every child can and will achieve and is dedicated to improving the life chances of all children and families. We have two part time (Job share) vacancies for two Nursery Teachers. One to cover maternity leave and permanent post for our Nursery class to commence September 2025. Each teacher would work three consecutive days e.g. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. PPA will be every Wednesday.

Can seamlessly engage and continue to develop the culture and curriculum as established by the current class teacher;

Welcomes the opportunity to work with a highly skilled and committed workforce;

Is an enthusiastic, organised and proactive classroom professional;

Has a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum;

Is a caring practitioner with high standards and expectations for pupil achievement and conduct;
