The successful candidate will:

• Have a background of successful teaching in Nursery
• Have a clear understanding of what constitutes the very best practice in the Early Years Foundation Stage underpinned by reading, research and professional development
• Be able to encourage all pupils to reach their true potential and become independent learners with a positive attitude to life-long learning
• Provide a challenging, yet caring and supportive learning environment which stimulates, maintains and develops lively enquiring minds
• Be an excellent communicator who works in collaboration with families and other professionals for the benefit of the child.
