Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef for our nursery.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in and similar role, with the ability to work on own initiative and have good time management.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes from the department for education meal plan, while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities


Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and service Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards Manage inventory levels, including ordering and maintaining supplies as needed Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment Collaborate with other staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Experience


Experience preferred but not essential as training is provided in house Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen
