Job summary

Woodberry Waterlooville Day Nursery, part of Family First Group, is seeking a Nursery Chef to prepare nutritious meals for children in a warm, safe environment. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, delivering age-appropriate meals and upholding strict hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates have experience in domestic or commercial kitchens, knowledge of dietary needs, and a passion for healthy child nutrition. Salary is £27,435.40 per annum with meal discounts and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing meals in domestic or commercial kitchen
• Knowledge of food allergies and dietary requirements
• Familiarity with COSHH regulations
• Experience working within a catering budget
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Experience cooking for young children

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh meals each day, minimising food waste

The role:

As our Nursery Chef, you'll be responsible for delivering nutritious meals while maintaining an organised, safe and compliant kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking fresh meals each day while minimising food waste
