Working hours: 1.30pm - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a passionate individual who values fresh ingredients, cleanliness, and excellent customer service to manage our club’s kitchen area. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure an exceptional customer experience.

As a Nursery Chef / Housekeeper at our Cottingley nursery, you should have a strong background in food production and development, with skills in handling fresh produce and good organizational abilities. An NVQ in food production or a similar qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Promote a friendly, relaxing, and professional atmosphere
• Engage effectively with people, including team members, children, and their families
• Ensure an excellent first impression through efficient service
• Train and oversee your team to produce healthy, nutritious food using fresh ingredients
• Manage budgets, costs, and gross percentages
• Provide nutritional snacks and meals, sharing menus and recipes for nursery children to enjoy at home
• Lead short cookery sessions with nursery children
• Support the nursery team in maintaining a clean environment
• Take full responsibility for the main kitchen, ensuring high health and safety standards are met
