Job Description:

Do you have a passion for working with Early Years?

Would you like the opportunity to work in various nurseries across Bognor Regis?

Competitive rates of pay starting from £*

Your new nursery
You will be working for Hays as early years bank staff where you will be placed in various settings. You will be working with children aged 3 months to 5 years, which can be tailored to your preferences. You will be able to work in your desired location in Hove and work around your commitments. When the nurseries are typically open, we are inundated with work and will be able to provide you with as much or as little as you need.

Your new role

As nursery bank staff, you will support the early years settings, working where required; supporting the other nursery staff, helping set up and tidy the room, playing with the children, and ensuring the environment is safe at all times. You won't be expected to complete any learning diaries, so this is a great opportunity to gain confidence and learn new skills. The role as a temporary practitioner means you have complete flexibility over the days you would like to work week by week.

What you'll need to succeed

We are ideally looking for Level 2 or Level 3 qualified early years practitioners; however, we are open to unqualified nursery assistants with recent relevant experience that can be referenced. You will need to be reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic; the nurseries that you are placed in will expect you to be hands-on and willing to help out in the setting.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive hourly salary including holiday pay. You will get the support you require to settle into the nursery's routine. You will have set hours for a fixed period, enabling you to plan your commitments or childcare where needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to work around your schedule in your desired location while gaining experience and confidence working with children.
