Overview
Qualified Nursery Assistants - Level 2 & 3. Primary schools are seeking EYFS practitioners for their Nursery/Reception year groups.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with parents and other staff members.
- Plan and implement the daily routine in the room.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
- Be aware of nursery standards and policies and ensure they are met.
- Be a key worker for up to 4 children and take responsibility for their records, learning and general care.
- Plan and prepare fun daily activities meeting the EYFS curriculum planning.
- Take observations on key children ensuring confidentiality.
- Ensure all children are happy, well cared for and their individual needs are met.
Qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 childcare certificate (or equivalent).
- DBS enhanced clearance.
- Good level of English (written and verbal).
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- 1-2 years previous nursery experience is an advantage.

- Hours: daily, part-time and full-time available (exact hours to be confirmed).
- This is a temporary position with a potential for permanent opportunities at a later date.
- Pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
