I am looking for Nursery Assistants in the Portsmouth area who are motivated and passionate about working with children. This will be to join local Portsmouth Nurseries / Early Years classes from September. We support our local client schools, pre-schools and nurseries to find them daily supply cover, Nursery Assistants for short term and long term contract work as well as to fill permanent vacancies.

Responsibilities include:
* Help room lead to plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.
* Provide a safe and caring environment.
* Encourage children to explore and learn through play.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate with parents about their child's development.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to the overall operation of the setting.

To be considered to join Academics team of Nursery Assistants you must be Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent), and ideally have previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development is paramount in this role.

You must be based in Portsmouth and have, or be willing to submit a DBS.
