Job description

The Hyde Nursery, based in the High Street, in High Barnet, EN5 on great transport links, is looking for a Nursery Assistant or Nursery Practitioner to cover our lunchtimes and also to support when we may need some extra cover. Lunchtime roles are 11am to 2pm Monday to Friday, all year round. A great hourly rate is offered depending on experience and qualifications, together with great benefits.

The Hyde Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group and is based in High Barnet, in the beautiful Iconic Hyde Institute building. Registered for 88 children, our lovely setting is minutes away from beautiful green spaces, which the Nursery takes full advantage of whatever the weather, together with having access through the nursery to free flow into their lovely outdoor gardens.

Requirements

As a LunchTime Assistant you will:

1. Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
2. Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
3. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor always.
4. Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room.

Ideally, you will be qualified level 2 or above, or have experience working with the under 5s.
