Nursery Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Part-Time/Full-time May Half-Term/September 2025
Salary: £90 - £120 per day

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Milton Keynes this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children in their early years development within a nurturing, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and will have a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate nursery activities

  • Support children in their development, providing individual attention and guidance

  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages children to participate

  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff

  • Assist with the daily care of children, ensuring their safety and well-being

  • Support in managing classroom routines and maintaining a clean, organized environment

Requirements:
  • Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Qualification (essential)

  • Experience working with young children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting

  • A friendly, caring, and approachable personality

  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents

  • Proactive and flexible approach to supporting children's needs

  • A genuine passion for early years education and child development
