Job description

ABC Teachers is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Practitioner / Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming nursery in Tamworth, starting from as soon as possible. If you re passionate about supporting young learners in their first steps of education, we d love to hear from you.

The role
This role will include:

  • You ll work in a supportive nursery setting, helping children aged 0-5 grow and develop through their early years.
  • Working hours vary between 07:30AM to 18:00 PM, working Monday to Friday each week.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver engaging, play-based learning aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Support daily routines and activities in a safe, welcoming space that s part of a reputable nursery group with several locations in the region.

Requirements

  • Be a confident and a positive influence on a working environment.
  • Must have previous experience working with in a nursery setting, either private setting or as part of a school setting.
  • Any applicants for this role must have at least a Level 2 childcare or teaching assistant qualification.
  • Be willing to commit to full time hours.
  • Due to the location of the Nursery, succesful candidate will need to be able to drive to the location.
  • Be able to gain two references from most recent and relevant roles.
  • Be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
