Job summary

Childbase Partnership Ltd. is hiring a Nursery Assistant/Unqualified Nursery Practitioner at Sandfield Day Nursery in Headington, Oxford (OX3 7RH).

The role offers permanent, full- or part-time hours (18-40 hours/week) with shifts from 07:00 to 18:30. You will work with babies and young children, supporting their learning and development, and act as a Key Person by planning engaging activities while following safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for babies and children aged five and under.
• Knowledge of child development and EYFS principles.
• Commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Ability to observe, assess and record children's progress.

Responsibilities

• Support learning through play with small groups and individuals.
• Plan and implement high-quality activities as a Key Person.
• Promote wellbeing and safety of every child in your care.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to support children's development.
