Overview

The post is for a maximum 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 7.00 am - 6.00 pm, 52 weeks a year.

Playworks Early Days Nursery Bedwas Ltd are looking to recruit a Nursery Assistant to join the Team at our growing Day Nursery based in Caerphilly.

Responsibilities

The role will involve supporting senior staff in providing care and delivering activities for children aged 3 months - 4 years.

Qualifications and experience

Experience working in a similar setting is desirable but not essential, as is an understanding of the role of The Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CIW) and their regulations relating to Daycare.

The successful applicant is not required to hold a childcare qualification, but must be willing to undertake training to gain a level 2/3 qualification with a local training provider.

It is desirable that you hold up to date training in Safeguarding, Food Safety, Paediatric First Aid; however, this is not essential and full training can be given.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required for the role, the cost of the DBS must be met by the applicant.
