Abacus Ark Nursery in Earlsfield, London, is seeking a Nursery Assistant to support daily routines and EYFS activities, helping children learn, play and thrive in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will work full-time across four days, with 32 days annual leave and a healthcare cashback plan, plus opportunities for training, progression, and new site openings within a family-run team.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Genuine passion for working with children.
• Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and health & safety.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
• Ability to provide 2 references.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support daily nursery routines and EYFS activities.
• Encourage children’s learning and development through fun activities.
• Build children’s confidence and independence.
• Record observations using our parent communication system.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team.
• Communicate professionally with parents and carers.
• Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment.
