Job summary

CLASS Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Practitioners to join our team across Weston-Super-Mare and surrounding areas. Flexible, rewarding nursery work with excellent weekly pay and ongoing support from Early Years consultants.

Shifts run 8am–6pm (minimum 2 days per week) with pay up to £15.30 per hour. Drivers welcome but not essential; enhanced DBS required; 18+ and minimum 3 months childcare experience.

Qualifications

• Min 3 months' childcare experience (paid or voluntary, referenceable).
• Enhanced DBS (on the update service or completed upon registration).
• Must be 18+.
• Drivers desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage warmly and empathetically with children aged 0-5 years.
• Support nursery staff with daily activities and play.
• Assist with setting up and packing away activities.
• Support during snack and lunchtime routines.
• Ensure children's safety and wellbeing during indoor and outdoor play.
• Carry out light cleaning and tidying duties.

We also work with nursery settings across North Somerset including Nailsea, Portishead, Blagdon, Wrington, Yatton, Congresbury, Flax Bourton and more!
