TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a Nursery Assistant to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis with nurseries across South Gloucestershire. This role is ideal for a student currently studying toward a BEd, looking to gain hands-on experience in early years through play, learning and engagement.

We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis, supporting children across nursery and pre-school age groups. This is a great opportunity for BEd students looking to gain hands‑on experience alongside their studies, supporting children’s development through play, engagement and age‑appropriate activities.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
- Be currently studying towards a BEd or relevant education qualification
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
- An interest in gaining practical Early Years experience
- The ability to engage children through play and activities
- A caring and positive approach
- Adaptability and a willingness to get stuck in
