Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd Nursery is seeking a Nursery Assistant to join us as soon as possible, due to an increasing number of children.

The successful candidate must have a Level 2 or above Childcare qualification, and preferably experience of working with babies and children under 5 years but also willing to work with children up to 10 years during school holidays. The role offers potential progression into a leadership position and requires safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Assistant to join us as soon as possible, due to an increasing number of children.

The successful candidate must have a Level 2 or above Childcare qualification, and preferably experience of working with babies and children under 5 years but also willing to work with children up to 10 years during school holidays.

The candidate needs to be enthusiastic, have a hands on approach, as well as a willingness to work as part of a team. Active listening skills, creativity and genuine enjoyment of children are all beneficial for this position.

This position also has the opportunity to further progress into a leadership role within the nursery if desired.
