Job description

Are you wanting to gain experience in the Nursery sector and help give the children the most memorable experiences? If so, we are recruiting for Qualified/Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to work 4 days a week in Romsey.

Core Responsibility: To supervise, inspire and interact with children (6 months – 5 years old) in nursery settings, whilst ensuring their safety at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children
• To be counted in ratio under Ofsted regulations
• Full and relevant Early Years Qualification Level 1-3 is desired but not essential

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and interact with children, ensuring their safety at all times
• Engage with children in learning and play activities, encouraging EYFS development
• Facilitate indoor and outdoor play activities to promote positive wellbeing
• Support the larger team with essential daily tasks i.e. room preparation & hygiene standards
• Follow safeguarding policies in line with the EYFS to ensure child welfare & protection
• Help to ensure a safe, secure and fun environment for all children

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one.
