Job summary

Academics are recruiting Nursery Assistants to support children within nursery and early years settings across Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable candidates with a passion for early development to join local schools and settings.

Roles include short-term supply, long-term, temp-to-perm and permanent positions with 8:30am to 3:30pm hours. A DBS check (Update Service) is preferred or applicants can apply through Academics. Pay starts from £93 per day.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in early years or school settings.
• DBS update service on the Update Service or willing to apply/pay for one.
• Available for full-time or part-time hours.

• Have experience working with children, ideally within an early years, nursery or school setting

• Be able to commit to school hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Have a valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for/pay for a DBS through Academics
• Be available for full-time or part-time work
