Job summary

Nexter Recruitment is seeking dependable, caring assistants to work in partner nurseries across the Wakefield district. You can choose 1 day, 3 days, or full 5-day weeks to fit childcare, college, or family schedules.

No formal NVQ or diploma is required; if you have spent at least 3 months in a UK private day nursery or early years setting, you already possess practical room skills that matter most. You will join supportive squads and help maintain daily routines, with supervision from room

Responsibilities

• Assist with messy play, sensory activities, story sessions and outdoor fun.
• Support statutory room ratios as an extra pair of capable hands.
• Work alongside qualified room leaders to help daily childcare tasks.
