Job summary

Premier Education Ltd is seeking Nursery Assistants to support on a flexible supply basis across Congleton and Macclesfield. You will work in various nurseries with children aged 0-5, providing safe, engaging and nurturing care.

Roles are flexible, with the opportunity to pick days that suit you. You will join a supportive recruitment team and gain exposure to a range of settings, with ongoing supply opportunities and potential longer placements.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Flexibility to work across different nursery settings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history.
• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• Paediatric First Aid is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the care and development of children aged 0-5 years.
• Assist with play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
• Support children with daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care.
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff and early years teams.
• Observe and support children's learning and development.

Supply Nursery Assistant - Flexible Opportunities

Location: Congleton & Macclesfield

Contract: Flexible / Day-to-Day Supply | Ongoing Opportunities

Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a number of nurseries and early years settings across Congleton and Macclesfield who are seeking Nursery Assistants to support on a flexible supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work within early years settings, whether that's a few days a week or more regular work. You'll have the chance to work across a variety of nurseries, supporting children aged 0-5 years in safe, engaging, and nurturing environments.

We are looking for caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about supporting children in the early stages of their development.

Responsibilities

• Support the care and development of children aged 0-5 years
• Assist with play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment

Pay

£14 - £15 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
