Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced Nursery Assistants for flexible supply roles across Derby and Long Eaton. Earn £15 per hour, with varied shifts in multiple nurseries. Ideal for childcare professionals seeking part-time or full-time flexibility.

You will support learning and development for ages 0–5 in safe, nurturing settings, follow safeguarding policies, and work alongside nursery staff. A DBS on Update Service is beneficial; training and local consultant support are provided.

Flexible Work | Supply Opportunities | £15.00 Per Hour | Nurseries Across Derby

Are you an experienced Nursery Assistant looking for flexible work in nurseries across Derby? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic, caring and reliable Nursery Assistants to work on a supply basis in nurseries throughout Derby and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Nursery Assistants, Early Years Practitioners, Nursery Nurses, Childcare Professionals or individuals with relevant experience working with young children who are looking for flexible working opportunities.

Due to the nature of working on a supply basis, you may be required to work across a variety of nursery settings throughout Derby, Long Eaton and the local area. This provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in different Early Years environments while enjoying flexibility over when and where you work.

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Working hours will vary depending on the individual nursery's requirements, with both short-term and longer-term assignments available.

The Role

As a Supply Nursery Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing within a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting children aged 0-5 years with their learning and development.
