Job summary

Hays Education in Liverpool's Wavertree area is seeking a full-time Nursery Assistant to support EYFS learners in a SEN Hub. You will work under supervision to deliver daily activities and routines, fostering a safe, nurturing environment.

You will observe and record progress, support inclusive practice, and help develop children's social, emotional, physical, and educational skills through play. Prior EY experience and enhanced DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with EY in a mainstream nursery or private nursery.
• Relevant Early years qualification.
• Possession or ability to obtain enhanced DBS checks.

Job Title: Nursery Assistant

Location: Liverpool, Wavertree area

Pay: £95 per day

Hays Education are working with a mainstream primary based in the Wavertree area who are seeking a full time Early Ears Teaching Assistant to join them working in their SEN Hub. The role will involve:

• Support the care, learning, and development of young children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Work under the direction of the Nursery Practitioner or Room Leader to deliver daily activities and routines
• Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development through play-based learning
• Help observe, monitor, and record children's progress and wellbeing
• Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Support inclusive practice and meet individual children's needs, including those with SEND

Previous Experience Required

• Previous experience working with EY in a mainstream nursery or private nursery
• Relevant Early years qualification
• Possession or ability to obtain enhanced DBS checks
