Nursery Assistant - Uphill Lincoln & Nearby Villages

Location: Uphill Lincoln & Surrounding Villages
Job Type: Day-to-Day Supply & Long-Term Assignments
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience

Simply Education is looking to recruit a Nursery Assistant to work in nurseries across Uphill Lincoln and the surrounding villages. This role is perfect for both qualified Level 3 Nursery Assistants and individuals with at least 3 months of experience working with children, even if they do not hold a formal qualification. We have a variety of day-to-day cover roles and longer-term assignments available, offering flexibility and valuable experience in early years settings.

Nursery Assistant - Role & Responsibilities:

1. Supporting the early development of children in a nursery environment
2. Assisting with play-based learning and structured activities
3. Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere for children
4. Providing individual and small-group support to children
5. Helping with general nursery duties, including meal preparation and tidying

Nursery Assistant - Requirements:

1. Either a Level 3 qualification in childcare or a minimum of 3 months experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting
2. A passion for early years education and child development
3. Adaptability, patience, and the ability to work well in different environments
4. A positive and nurturing attitude towards young learners
