Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is recruiting for a Nursery Assistant in a respected early years setting in Huyton. The role focuses on nurturing, developing and safeguarding young children aged 0-5 through a supportive, inclusive environment.

You will work alongside experienced practitioners to deliver play-based learning, monitor progress and collaborate with families to support each child’s wellbeing and development.

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected early years provider located in Huyton, is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Assistant to join their dedicated team.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the holistic development and well-being of the children in your care.

Working alongside our experienced Early Years Practitioners, you will create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that fosters learning, creativity, and social-emotional growth.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Providing a high standard of care and support to children aged 0-5 years
• Promoting the children's physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development through engaging activities and play-based learning
• Assisting with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational programmes, drawing inspiration from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Observing and documenting each child's progress, ensuring that individual needs are met and that any concerns are promptly addressed
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe nursery environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
• Effectively communicating with parents and carers, providing updates on their child's development and fostering positive relationships Requirements:
