Job summary

REESON Education is recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Putney, SW15, from November 2026. The role is full-time, term-time-only, with long-term/ permanent potential.

Working with an experienced Early Years team, you will support young children's learning, development and wellbeing in a nurturing nursery setting and align activities with the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Experience in nursery/preschool/ EYFS setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher and Early Years team with daily nursery activities and routines.
• Deliver age-appropriate learning activities aligned with EYFS.
• Encourage communication, social interaction and independence.
• Provide individual and small-group support including for children with additional learning needs.
• Assist with observations, assessments and monitoring development.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Reeson Education is recruiting for an enthusiastic, caring and experienced Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Putney, SW15, from November 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Early Years professional looking for a full-time, term-time-only position within a supportive school environment. The role is initially available on a long-term basis, with the potential to become permanent.

The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced Early Years team, supporting young children's learning, development and wellbeing in a nurturing and engaging nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher and Early Years team with daily nursery activities and routines.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Encourage children's communication, social interaction and independence.
• Provide individual and small-group support, including for children with additional learning needs.
• Assist with observations, assessments and monitoring children's development.

• Support children's personal care needs where required.

Essential Requirements

• A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification - essential.
• Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool or Early Years setting.
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach to supporting young children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to commit to full-time working hours, Monday to Friday.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
