About the Role

Randstad Education is seeking caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to work within our partner nurseries and schools across Forest Row. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting young children's early learning and development, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day activities in the nursery, including play, learning, and meal times.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their confidence and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with nursery staff and teachers to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Assist with the preparation and tidying of the nursery or classroom, ensuring a clean and organised space.
  • Observe and monitor children's progress, contributing to records and reports as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on their child's development and well-being.
Requirements
  • Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
