Job summary

Trinity C of E Primary School is seeking dedicated individuals to join the nursery team, supporting children across the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will work under the guidance of the nursery manager and collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure a safe, stimulating learning environment.

The role emphasises enthusiasm, flexibility, and initiative, with a focus on helping every child reach their potential and progress with confidence.

Qualifications

  • Must be enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated to support children across all EYFS areas.
  • Must be able to work under direction and liaise with other professionals.
  • Demonstrate initiative and compassion in problem-solving.
  • Experience of working with children is preferred, ideally in a nursery.
  • Able to inspire and motivate children to achieve their best.
  • Commitment to promoting high progress and equity for all children.

Responsibilities

  • Support children across the EYFS curriculum as part of the nursery team.
  • Liaise with the nursery manager and other professionals within and outside the setting.
  • Show initiative, integrity and compassionate problem-solving in daily tasks.
  • Contribute to creating a warm, inclusive environment that supports learning and wellbeing.

What skills and experience we're looking for

For Trinity C of E Primary School, we are looking to appoint exceptional candidates who:

  • Will be enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated working alongside the nursery team to support children across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
  • Will be required to work under the direction of the manager and liaise with other professionals both within and outside the nursery setting
  • Will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given solutions with integrity and compassion
  • Have experience of working with children. Ideally, within a nursery environment
  • Can inspire and motivate children and enable them to be the best that they can be
  • Has the ability to encourage every child to learn and achieve and has enthusiasm, skill and desire to make a difference
  • Has a passion to ensure high expectations for all ensuring that they make outstanding progress
