Role Overview

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging space for children to explore and grow. You will support daily activities, assist with routines, and contribute to a positive learning environment where every child can flourish.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
Support the daily routine, including mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor play
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
Observe and support children's individual learning and development needs
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience working with young children (preferred)
Relevant childcare qualifications or working towards one (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare)
A genuine passion for working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, positive, and caring approach
