About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early development? We’re seeking a caring and energetic Nursery Assistant to join a nurturing early years setting in Blackpool FY1. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a child’s most formative years.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Supporting the learning and development of nursery-aged children, including those with additional needs
• Assisting with creative, play-based activities that encourage curiosity and growth
• Working closely with the room leaders and SENCO to adapt learning experiences
• Encouraging communication, confidence, and social interaction
• Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in early years or a strong desire to work with young children
• A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) is a plus but not essential
• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic personality
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
