Are you an enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner with experience working within a private day nursery?

Do you hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate and have strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery based in Leicester, LE4, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner. The nursery is seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual who can support children's learning and development while helping to maintain a safe, positive and stimulating environment.

The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner on a full-time, long-term cover basis from ASAP, working 8am to 5pm. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS, planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, promoting children's development, following safeguarding procedures and working closely with the nursery team to provide high-quality childcare.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)

Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (essential)

Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures

Confidence supporting children's learning, development and daily care routines

A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach with excellent communication skills
