Showcase Training Ltd. in Fair Oak, Eastleigh, is seeking a Nursery Apprentice to support early-years care and learning. The role offers 36 hours per week at £8 per hour, with a pathway to full-time employment and progression to higher-level qualifications.

Training will be provided by Showcase Training, including Early Years Practitioner Level 2 or Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standards, plus Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (unless exempt).

Qualifications

• Duties include creating a warm, friendly atmosphere for children
• Provide all aspects of care under supervision
• Act as a key worker and record observations
• Complete Apprenticeship work as set by Assessor
• Assist with meeting personal and emotional needs of children
• Safeguard and promote welfare of children
• Follow nursery policies and procedures

Are you looking to train in childcare? A friendly, local nursery in Fair Oakis looking for a Nursery Apprentice to join their team. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.

This role is 36 hours per week Monday – Friday. Candidates will be on a wage of £8 per hour, increasing to National Minimum/Living Wage after 12 months of employment.

Training to be provided by Showcase Training:

• Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard OR


• Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard


• Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (unless exempt)
