Job summary

Kindred Nurseries is seeking a motivated individual to start an Early Years apprenticeship on site. You will work towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification with guided mentor support, while gaining practical experience in a nurturing nursery environment.

You will help children learn and develop through engaging activities, observe progress, and contribute to development records. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undertake an Early Years apprenticeship with full training.
• Interest in safeguarding, health and safety and child development.
• Ability to learn with mentor support and apply learning to practice.

Job description

• Work towards achieving a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Learn all aspects of the Early Years Practitioner role with support from an experienced mentor.
• Support children to learn, play and develop through engaging activities.
• Observe children's learning and contribute to their development records.
• Assist with creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing nursery environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Learn about safeguarding, health and safety, and child development.
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team.
• Develop your confidence, skills and knowledge through structured learning and practical experience.
• Demonstrate Kindred's values in everything you do. A genuine passion for working with young children.
• A commitment to completing an Early Years apprenticeship.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach.

Desirable

• Previous experience with children (although full training will be provided).
• A basic understanding of Early Years or childcare.
