Job summary

CleverClogs Nursery is seeking a warm and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice who is passionate about working with children and eager to undertake a Level 3 Early Years qualification. They are part of Realise Training and focus on a safe, stimulating learning environment in Norwich.

The role offers on‑the‑job training toward the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship, 14‑month duration, and opportunities to progress to a full‑time role after completion.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
• Some experience working with babies or children under the age of five.
• Willing to progress and develop within the role.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive relationships in the setting.
• Promote the health, safety and well-being of the children.
• Support the children’s development, learning and play.
• Support key persons in building relationships with children and families.
• Contribute to effective team work.
• Be a role model with high quality practice in group work with children.
• Help ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
• Support the nursery to reach an outstanding Ofsted grade.
